Lauren
AQA Examiner
Lauren shares her tutoring role with that of professional examiner and Head of Business Studies at a top international British private school. Thanks to her time spent as an examiner with different exam boards, she is particularly well-equipped to help her students understand how to maximise marks on both short and long form questions, knowing precisely how to achieve all KAA points in order to reach the top level bands.
Beyond boosting grades, Lauren values Business Studies as a key subject in providing students with a strong basic skill-set to analyse and interact with the present political environment, current affairs, and business events of their wider world.
TUTORING EXPERIENCE
As a qualified teacher from England, with both a PGCE and QTS, Lauren began her teaching career in London through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme. Her primary area of expertise has become Business Studies, for which she has now held a career of over 6 years in classroom education. She is particularly well-versed in the nuances of IB, IGCSE, AQA A level, and Edexcel GCSE. In addition to her classroom experience, Lauren is an experienced tutor, having worked both online and in-person. Her years in the field mean she is able to lean on a plethora of compelling resources to help her students fulfil their academic goals.
