Mohsin
Mohsin shares his career in tutoring with that of a part-time software developer, having worked with Silicon Valley startups since 2020. Coupling this passion for teaching with tangible industry experience, he is able to bring real-world relevance to his teaching, bridging the gap between academia and business.
Considering Computer Science to be a subject that evolves from little more than a mere string of 0s and 1s, morphing seamlessly into algorithms and programming languages, and with mathematics underpinning it all, Mohsin hopes to pass on his natural flair and awe for these subjects to all his students. He believes that teaching is an important role that gives back to society in a way that is bigger than oneself.
Tutoring Experience
Having realised a passion for teaching, Mohsin has now been working as a professional tutor since 2020. He holds a wealth of experience in different exam boards for both maths and computer science and prioritises forming clear plans with his students so as to guarantee their academic success. He has taught international students up to undergrad level including students from UC Berkley, Duke, King's College London and more. Last year, amongst numerous successes, he took one student from a grade C to a grade A in A level maths within 4 months, and another to a perfect score in her mocks (from 66/100) for A level Edexcel Maths. With practical experience in various programming languages (including Python, JavaScript, C, Java, TypeScript and frameworks like Node, Express and React), Mohsin also provides full practical support for technical project aspects for CS along with strengthening the theoretical points. His deep-rooted research in Network Security and Cloud Computing helps his CS students be one step ahead in the competitive industry of Privacy and Big Data.
