Having taught at one of the top performing schools of the UK, where more than 35% of the students received an offer from Oxbridge in 2023, Riccardo later joined JTC Education as a full-time professional tutor to challenge and stretch mathematics and physics students. His expertise is strongly focussed on A level, IB DP, UKMT and top UK university entrance exams. As a strong believer in Socratic questioning - which naturally leads students to discover results by themselves - Riccardo takes pride in helping students not only master challenging concepts, but also develop a genuine passion for learning. As a PGCE-qualified teacher, Riccardo brings substantial experience from the classroom to his tutoring practice. His MA in STEM Education ensures that students receive top-notch instruction that is both research-based and tailored to their individual needs. Riccardo has considerable experience teaching students across the age range 13 to 18, as well as older students on select undergraduate maths and physics courses. His speciality lies within maths and physics, where he has taught all paths of A level and IB Maths, Further Maths and Physics. He has equally assisted students in TMUA, STEP, ENGAA, MAT and UKMT (previously supporting multiple students through to the final stages of the British Maths Olympiad). His previous work at a top UK Maths institute has enabled him to gain a unique insight into these most demanding university entrance exams.
